Mission Statement

• To promote and continue the spirit of comradeship developed whilst serving in HM Armed Forces through organised social functions

Club Overview

• The JSSC is first and foremost a Social Club.
• Members (& guests) are expected to treat one another with respect.
  • Membership of the JSSC can be refused and revoked at the committee’s discretion.
• There is no discrimination within the JSSC with regards to branch, rank or cap badge.
• Membership is open to any HM Forces Veteran including Reserves (formally TA), Royal Fleet Aux (RFA).
  • Membership is to be paid in full (eg £60 from 1 Aug Annually)
  • There’s no discount for payment partway through the year
• The JSSC aims to organise events throughout the year.  Such as Black Tie Dinner (at Christmas), Games Night, Horse Racing Night, Themed Summer Function & Oktoberfest.  The intention is for these events to be heavily subsidised for members; guests/partner may attend at a nominal fee.
• The Committee will be voted in by the members at an AGM.
• Communication of JSSC matters and functions will be done electronically and by means of a notice board in the Manx Legion Club (Douglas).
• Associate Members may apply to join. However, they should be sponsored by a JSSC Member for review by the committee on a case by case basis.
